We were made to feel at home here, and I’d happily tell other people about this hidden gem. The B&B is right in the heart of Bouresse,France, run by a lovely English couple who made us feel so welcome. The rooms are excellent and have everything you need for a night or a longer stay.

The little farm was a lovely part of our three days, with friendly animals the children could meet. The hosts at Last Maison Jaune were so welcoming and made us feel at home. They also pointed us toward places of interest to visit. Recommended.

Getting to chat with the goats and feed them after breakfast was absolutely fantastic for the children. The hosts were kind and attentive to our comfort, and the towels and bed linen were very good. Breakfast was adequate, and for us this worked well as an overnight stop to break up the journey. We were given a very warm welcome even though we arrived late after the Futuroscope show. A basic knowledge of English is practically essential.

We had a delicious breakfast and enjoyed the very cozy lounge. Our host Ian was so welcoming and lovely, and we felt right at home. The room was charming, with a cot available on request. We also went to see the sheep and goats. A place to remember on a holiday road trip!

Our daughter got to feed the goats and sheep up close, with the owners being incredibly attentive to everyone. We stayed at the yellow house in Bouresse, a quiet little village, and received a very warm welcome from the English couple, who really tried to speak French 😉. The rooms were clean, had private bathrooms, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was generous.
