Parking right outside is great, and it's free from 7pm until 9am. The place was very clean, with a lovely grand entrance and a good location. The beds are very firm, though, and breakfast is meagre, as if the accountant has chosen the cheapest possible items. The toiletries in the bathroom gave me the same impression.

There's a restaurant attached, run by a different company, and its food was unexpectedly delicious, made with really good fresh ingredients. Prices range from mid-range to expensive, but I thought it was worth it. The hotel itself is in a lovely old building in the town center. My pretty room had large original windows overlooking the square, plus an en-suite bathroom with a good-sized shower, a minibar, and a safe. There's secure garage parking for €14 a night, or free parking on the square.

The location is good, but the rooms are terrible. There's no air conditioning at all, and the service is just as bad. Breakfast has very few options, too.

The one good thing is that everything is nearby, so I could get out, find food, and walk around at my height. I'm 1.96 m tall, and although the room itself was generally good, I had to duck badly as I moved around. Nobody on the website or at the information desk warned me that the low ceilings could be a problem for anyone who isn't hobbit-sized. The bathroom was a nightmare for a tall person. I could barely get through the entrance without hitting my head, and then there was a bathtub. It's 2023, not 1970. Who uses a bathtub in a hotel, especially at my height? The water wouldn't drain when I showered, so it sat there like a lake until the cleaner removed it. I work with technical stuff, and still couldn't sort it out. The floor was uneven too, like walking over waves in a funhouse. I know it must be an old apartment, but it should have been renovated properly. Breakfast was OK, though it could have been much better. I won't book again and wouldn't recommend it to tall people.
