The toilet wouldn’t flush, and getting online was a struggle: the handwritten Wi-Fi code was impossible to decipher, even after I spent 30 minutes trying in my room. The hallway had no lights, so I had to feel my way to the room in the dark. Walls were paper thin, and I could hear both neighbors’ conversations. The so-called double bed was two small mattresses pushed together with two small blankets. I’m used to camping and don’t fuss over beds, but I couldn’t get comfortable at all. What a joke. Staff were very rude, too. In the morning, I was drinking water from a paper cup in the lobby when a woman aggressively tried to charge me for breakfast. I know it’s cheap, but this was completely unacceptable. Terrible experience.

The place smelled awful and was filthy. I walked in, then straight back out after just two minutes in the room, but they still refused to refund me. Worst hotel I’ve ever visited.

The staff were great, and the place was clean enough. The decor looked modern, though it felt flimsy, and there were, yes, a few noises from other rooms. We only stayed one night, but got a great night’s rest.
