The sticky kitchen floor, bad smell in the room, and dirty cookware made the stay miserable. There were no towels or bed linen, the bed was uncomfortable, and the coffee machine barely worked, with terrible coffee when it did. The car park was flooded, the bays were poorly marked and lit, and the lift was faulty. Nobody seemed to care for the place, and it showed. After more than 200 Booking.com stays, this may have been our worst. Just dreadful.

The staff were really lovely, and the apartment worked perfectly for our family of four. It's in a handy spot in Bourg Madame, though less convenient for the mountain area. The place is showing its age, with holes in the walls and tears in the sofa. We didn't try the spa. If you want to avoid paying for parking, there are lots of free spaces in front of the supermarket.

We had a clean, warm three-bedroom apartment with everything we needed for our ski holiday at Font Romeu and Masella/La Molina. A really good place to stay while exploring the area.

The location is a real plus. In winter you can get to French ski areas like Porte and Les Angles, as well as Spanish ones such as Masella or Molina. It's a nice place, and I'd recommend going.
