The resort itself is one of the best ski spots in the world, with loads of slopes and hardly any lift queues. The 1950 village is great too: car-free, ski-in/ski-out, and everything you need is about a five-minute walk away. The hotel kitchen is well equipped, they kindly provided soap and dishwasher tablets, and it was cleaned every day. Getting around the hotel was a struggle. Its three buildings are linked by dark, cold, complicated corridors, and even after three days I had trouble finding the spa. Getting there meant going down a floor, crossing to another building, going down again, crossing another building, then down two more floors. The spa was disappointing. The jacuzzi wasn’t hot, the sauna was okay but crowded with people constantly coming and going, and the outdoor pool was freezing. There were no towels or cups of water, and I was shivering on the walk back to my room. The ski room is cramped and crowded. I never found a chair for putting on my boots, so I had to kneel on the floor. It smelled of mold and had no way to heat or dry the boots. The shower pressure was low, and the temperature kept swinging between cold and burning hot.

Our apartment is on the first floor, near the pool. It’s very spacious and comfortable, with everything we need. There are bathrobes and towels, a TV in each room, and a view of the snow from the window.

The staff were helpful, polite and very nice. We had a clean, well-equipped apartment with lots of room: two bedrooms, each with its own toilet room and bathroom, plus a living room, large kitchen and terrace. Shops and services, including Carefour, the bakery, ski rental and ski cabin, were just a two-minute walk away. After the slopes closed, we enjoyed the outdoor heated pool, jacuzzi, hamam and sauna. We’ll definitely come back. All the best!

The slopes were great, and the location worked really well for skiing. You can ski in and out, though the little kids had a short walk to their ski school meeting point. A bakery and shop are close by too. Our room was spacious and clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed.

The ski-in/ski-out access was the best part, and the room was fairly spacious with a sufficiently equipped kitchen. The building layout is confusing, though. We only found the short route to the ski room on our last day. The hotel also needs refurbishing, and the carpets need cleaning, as others have mentioned.
