CGH Rés & Spa Le Coeur dOr (BSM105)

The apartment was spacious and cozy, with a fully equipped kitchen including a microwave, hob, and dishwasher, which made evening meals easy. We also really enjoyed the spa after a day in the mountains. CGH is ideally placed, close to the shops, train station, and funicular up the mountain. Service was excellent too, professional, friendly, and informative. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return.

The residence was perfect for our holiday, and the location made getting around easy. The train station is under ten minutes away on foot, supermarkets less than five, and the funicular to the mountains under fifteen. The spa is fully equipped with a sauna, steam room, pool, and gym. Staff were friendly and professional, and gave us great advice on places to go and where to rent ski equipment.

The mini apartments were clean and very nice, and the pool and sauna were clean and enjoyable. The gym wasn't worth using, though; the town gym is a better choice with a day pass. Massages are available, and the receptionist was helpful, spoke English, and was nice, but reception isn't open around the clock. House rules are posted at the entrance. It's easy to find, beside the main road, with quiet rooms. There's a natural park, river, and lake behind the Residence, nice for walking, cycling, or sunbathing. The cinema is right next door. Two large shopping areas are five minutes away, the train station is a 15-minute walk, the town centre 20 minutes, and the funiculaire to the mountains 20 minutes. There's a large car park behind the Residence; it gets muddy in the rain and coaches can use it, but check with reception first.

The rooms were perfectly clean and matched the photos online, and reception was helpful. The pool and spa were clean and perfectly fine. Parking is easy, and the location is handy, right on the main road, beside MacDo and large supermarkets. It's a ten-minute walk into town, and a free buss stops outside for the train station, town, funicular, and other places. Booking direct offers better deals than booking .com.
