We came all the way from Sydney, Australia, and neither of us had skied or visited France before. The whole week was marvellous. The resort is stunning, the staff were incredible, and the way the lessons and week were set up worked brilliantly. Fred was our instructor, and he was absolutely fantastic. We loved skiing with him and our group. It was very expensive to get there and book, but completely worth it. We can't wait to save enough to return. Highly recommend.

We came back to Arcs Extreme for a second visit. It's just what it says on the tin: a three-star hotel at 2000 m with direct slope access, great when there's good snow. The entertainment was very good, the staff excellent, and the cuisine and restaurant team were great. Special thanks to Abdelmoula for the service in the specialty restaurant. The rooms are dated but clean, and Betty took great care of us. I'd return, but unfortunately the resort is going to close.

Betty took great care of our room, and Abdel Moula gave us wonderful service at dinner. We just finished a lovely fondue at the a la carte restaurant, and it was an excellent experience all around. It's a shame the resort is going to close.

We had eight people aged 26 to 58 and spent seven fantastic nights at Club Med Panorama, Les Arcs, over New Year 2023 into 2024. The views from our suitable rooms were amazing, with balconies, and they were serviced daily with impeccable attention to detail. The food quality and variety were beyond what we expected. We could ski in and out, and the shared spaces were warm and comfortable. The service made the stay especially good. Manager Michele was always smiling and seemed to be everywhere, even greeting people at the restaurant door morning and night. His staff across departments were just as cheerful and eager to help. The New Year party was so much fun, with entertainment, DJs, visual effects and fireworks. I noticed some past reviews being rather petty about ski access. To ski out, leave the boot room, go down a slope, then side-step five metres up to the button lift. Coming back in uses the same route, with another five-metre side-step slope, or you can take a fun run along the neighboring hill straight to the door. Knowing there'd be endless drinks, a warm welcome and afternoon tea waiting made coming back a joy. For a worry-free ski holiday at good value, in a huge high-altitude resort with world-beating slopes, why choose anywhere else?

The mountains are beautiful, the price is good, and the food is quite good too. As my friend put it, the hotel is "Les Arcs Extremely Old." It's okay, just not great, and there's no hot tub. If you'll be skiing all the time, though, it's fine.
