Hôtel l'Autantic

It's an average hotel. The shower has no screen and you have to hold the shower head by hand. Breakfast was average, and there were hardly any plugs in the room. The location wasn't great either. My review still stands. It shouldn't matter how the rooms were booked, that doesn't change our experience. Maybe add shower holders and screens, I'm sure guests would appreciate them.

I used the hotel as a quick stop on the way down from Les Arcs ski resort. The room was clean and the hotel quiet, with a friendly reception team. I paid 90 euros for the room plus tax, and breakfast was 12 euros. They check guests in until 8:30pm, then you need a code to enter the building. There's no restaurant, but they serve a decent breakfast from 7am. It may not be within walking distance of the train station or nearby restaurants, so make sure you have a car. There's an indoor pool too, which some people might enjoy.

The price was right, which earned extra points, and the French-style breakfast was amazing. I loved every bit of it. This is a beautiful, quaint hotel in the middle of town, with shops and restaurants just a short walk away. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the bedrooms were clean, comfortable and tidy. The bathroom was clean and had toiletries provided.

The room was spacious and nicely furnished, and reception staff were lovely. The pool looked very nice, though we didn't use it. But the shower and WiFi really dragged down the stay. There was no shower curtain or screen, and no holder for the shower head, so I had to kneel in the bath to shower, which I'm not keen on. The WiFi was too slow for much of anything. Web pages took ages to load, never mind watching YouTube.
