Hotel Saint Martin

A lovely, authentic little hotel, just a short detour off the motorway. A good option if you want to steer clear of the factory buildings along the highway.

The owners were very friendly and helpful, and check-in and check-out were easy. Our room was clean and comfortable, with enough space for a stopover, though it wasn’t modern. One night the power went out and stayed off until we left, so getting ready in the morning was hard in the dark with cold water. Still, that can happen. We hadn’t booked breakfast there.

Under new ownership. The food is very tasty and good value, with a menu based on good local produce. The manager listens to requests, and the staff are pleasant and friendly. It’s a very good place to keep in mind for either the restaurant or the hotel.

Completely unprofessional. They took my money in advance, then hung up when I called, even though check-in was listed as being open until 10 pm. Everything was closed before then.
