We had a wonderful time at this magnificent theatre. Our hosts welcomed us warmly and shared the story of the house, their family, and the city of Bourges. The beautiful musical interlude in their superb theatre was a special touch. We highly recommend this unique place.

Breakfast in the veranda by the pool was a treat: fresh pastries Anna had picked up that morning, homemade jams, fruit juice, and fresh fruit. Anna and Franck welcomed us so warmly into their beautiful home, full of lovely furniture and objects. Our visit was far too short, but it’s stayed in our hearts. The room was spacious, with a four-poster bed, lovely furnishings, and very nice towels and bathrobes; the bathroom was spacious too. Then Franck played piano for us in the beautiful room beside the gîte. He’s a wonderful pianist, very humble and friendly. Sharing that magical moment with him and Anna made us feel lucky. We’ll be back, and can’t wait to share the experience with others. This place is a favorite of ours. I’ll leave it there before it gets fully booked and we can’t reserve a room. Thank you for those moments. We’d give more than five stars if we could.
