We spent 24 hours here as a stopover, in the spacious family room. It was a bit basic, but had a lovely double bed and a decent sofa bed. The shower and toilet could only be reached through the double room, and the shower room had no door. The room was clean, and checking in late was no problem. It was great to be able to order a drink through room service at midnight. The staff were flexible about breakfast timing and helped us when we had an issue with the car charging cable. The car park was secure. Breakfast included homemade cookies the kids loved, along with cheese, meat, toast, boiled eggs, cereal, fruit and pastries. The only complaint was a dodgy egg. We had a lovely day exploring historic Bourges, and the kids enjoyed the fairy door trail.

I’ve stayed here several times and have always found it welcoming. It’s across from the railway station, conveniently placed even though it isn’t in the town centre. The parking is very secure.

The host was incredibly kind, gentle and friendly, well beyond what you usually get. Breakfast was perfect and left us completely satisfied. The place offers great value for the stay, and we can only recommend this wonderful hotel in France.

The hosts made us feel very welcome and were helpful throughout. The beds were comfortable, and the modern rooms were clean, airy and bright thanks to their big windows. Gated parking was reassuring too. A brilliant location and an excellent stay.

I had a really relaxing stay and would certainly book again when passing through Bourges. The room was comfortable, with a very comfortable bed and good air conditioning. Wi-Fi was stable, and the staff were attentive and patient with my schoolboy French. I’d have preferred off-street parking, but I was lucky enough to park right outside. The old town was an easy walk away.
