B&B Le Lodge

Breakfast was delicious, with local products. Ms. Helene makes the place feel so welcoming that you want to come back. It's a peaceful spot near the wine route, and the property is set up perfectly for a relaxing evening.

The varied, fresh breakfast was a highlight, and Hélène took such good care of everyone that we always felt comfortable. Our apartment was stylish, modern, and practical, though with three of us it couldn't really have been any smaller. We could spread out on the private terrace, in the cozy courtyard, or in the comfortable TV lounge, and there was also a billiards table. Bourgheim is a quiet, sleepy little place close to the Alsatian wine route, with lots of worthwhile trips within easy reach, especially with the E25 motorway entrance nearby. The neighboring Gertwiller has a supermarket, gas station, and restaurants just a short distance away. There are four cats, too. Two are very happy to be petted, and the black cat will even sit on your lap. Le Lodge is small, cozy, and exceptionally hospitable. We really enjoyed our stay!

Two days just weren't enough to see the area, so we'll be back. The B&B Le Lodge is in a great spot, peaceful in a small Alsatian village and still close to places like Strasbourg and Obernai. The hostess was very attentive, and the design throughout is tasteful. The room was idyllic, comfortable, and spotless, with a great bathroom and shower and a wonderful bed. We also loved the terrace, the creatively laid-out garden, and the delightful breakfast room, where there was everything you could want. You feel welcome and looked after, while still having your privacy. Fresh flowers, an exceptional breakfast, and excursion tips were among the many lovely touches. Thank you so much! 😍

The hostess gave us such a warm, professional welcome, and the B&B was comfortable and clean, with a fully equipped kitchen that worked perfectly for making dinner. Breakfast was another plus. We had three wonderful, peaceful nights in the little village of Bourgheim, ideally placed between Strasbourg and Colmar, which we visited for the Christmas lights. We'd definitely come back.
