We stayed in the Las Cabrettes room, and the balcony looked straight out over the vineyards and countryside, with nothing blocking the view. In October, the autumn colors were stunning. It’s an easy walk to several local Champagne houses, and one of the region’s top dining experiences is only five minutes away on foot. The home, guest rooms, grounds, and the family’s wine history all made a lovely impression. This is a remarkable place to stay around Bouzy, and we felt the visit was well worth making time for. We’ll certainly return when we’re next in the pinot noir area.

The backyard is cozy, with lovely views across the vine-fields, and the stay felt peaceful and stress-free. The hostess and service were great, and breakfast was tasty. If you want to feel like you own an vineyard in France, this is a place to stay. There are local vine cellars to visit, and the big houses get their grapes from this area. Dinner often means heading to nearby cities, especially on Sundays and Mondays when restaurants may be closed. The local cellars are worth a look, and for larger ones such as Ruinart, remember to book a tour well ahead.

The grounds were beautiful, and parking was good. We had a pretty room at this quiet BandB, plus a great breakfast with homemade spreads.

The Champagne producer running this place made it possible to buy directly there. Service was friendly and very good, and breakfast was excellent. A great B&B in Grand Cru village Bouzy. We’ll definitely come back on our next trip.

Our room was upstairs on the first floor, with a terrace facing a lovely view of the vines. We relaxed in the jacuzzi, then opened a bottle from one of the local champagne houses. The homemade jams made with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes were a breakfast highlight. Mme Vesselle suggested stopping by the local champagne house Herbert Beaufort, and it was a lovely way to finish our trip. Clos De Mont Rouge was our last night in France, and easily the most homely and relaxing stay we had.
