Hôtel Du Cygne

The staff were so helpful and attentive. Our room was comfortable and roomy, and the heated pool was a lovely bonus. A cozy place to stay in a small town, with an amazing breakfast.

Breakfast was perfect, with plenty of fresh, tasty options. The staff were so warm and accommodating, and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean. We had a wonderful stay here recently, spending three nights in this charming hotel in Bracieux while visiting the Loire Valley and staying near Chateau de Chambord. Our room was quaint and comfortable, and the bathroom had been fully modernized. What a gem!

The buffet breakfast was the best we had during our cycling trip. We loved the local cheese and jam, the low amount of packaging, and the soft music and lighting that made the breakfast room feel so cozy. We stayed overnight as a family of four during our three-day Loire valley cycling tour. The room was comfortable and fairly spacious, and there was a nice spot outside to sit with a drink or eat takeaway. The receptionist was very friendly and gave us tips on where to get dinner. Since all the nearby restaurants were booked on Saturday night, we got food from the local Japanese 'traiteur' and reheated it using the kitchen, microwave, and crockery. We also appreciated being able to refill our bottles at the still/sparkling water fountain, and liked the cozy shared lounge. We'd return if we're ever back in the area.

Bracieux is a lovely little village, with some great restaurants, and it made a good base for visiting nearby chateaus and wineries. Many were close enough to reach by bike. We had a great stay here. The owner and staff were lovely and very helpful, the kids loved the pool, and breakfast was a great start to the day. We'd definitely recommend it.
