Brigitte serves generous, delicious breakfasts made at home, and she’s happy to suggest activities or places she likes. She welcomes you with a smile. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated, with authentic character and good bedding that’s neither too hard nor too soft. There’s a lovely garden and pool for relaxing. La Maison Bleue had everything I hoped for: charm, authenticity, comfort, quiet, a little greenery, and plenty of warmth and kindness. If that’s what you’re looking for near Brantôme, don’t hesitate.

Brigitte is incredibly attentive and gives excellent advice. The house is charming and tastefully decorated, and staying there was truly relaxing. It was perfect, so go without hesitation. I’ll definitely be back.

It may not look like much, and there’s no luxury, but it’s just right. The charming owner lets guests know that her old house has no soundproofing at all. Everyone takes their shoes off and is considerate, so it stays completely quiet, with views over the garden, countryside, and Périgord hills.
