“Perfect” doesn’t quite cover it. Tanja’s house is one of the best places I’ve stayed. It was clean and had everything needed. Getting there takes a bit of effort, but Strasbourg isn’t that far away.

That cozy Alsatian atmosphere really comes through, with a rustic, chic mountain-chalet look in the rooms and furnishings. In winter, you can have a fire going in the glass-fronted insert in the living room. Sitting by it is pure bliss.

We had such a lovely evening “at the foot of the mountains.” Tania gave us an incredibly warm welcome, and the house felt like pure bliss. It’s a great place to stay in Alsace. We’ll be back.

A pretty little village out in the countryside, and the house is conveniently located right in the center.
