B&B Hôtel Bretigny-sur-Orge

We stayed in family room #132. It was clean, though there was a bit of a funky, musty smell, and the bathroom could do with an update. The beds were really comfortable, the service was good, and the price was very reasonable.

The hotel is handy for the N104, and since it’s halfway between our home and vacation place, we’ll probably stay again. This time, though, our room fell a little short of the standard we’ve come to expect from B&B. It was spotless, but showed clear signs of wear, and the bathroom was clean but also looked ready for a facelift. There are two buildings across the street from each other, which was confusing at first. The gate at the first one wouldn’t open, so we went to the other building and got into the grounds there. It was still a good stay, just not quite up to the usual standard we’ve experienced on several other visits. Hopefully next time we’ll get a room that better reflects the B&B value.

At 100 euros plus, I was really disappointed. Nobody came to clean the room during our four-day stay. For 50 euros, I wouldn’t have complained at all, but at that price the quality didn’t feel right.

At 80 euros a night, I expected better value. I also spotted a bug crawling on the picture on the wall. The hotel needs some upgrades if it’s going to charge that much.
