The location is convenient, but the hotel sits on a steep hill and the main road brings a lot of traffic noise. Our room was small, worn, gloomy, and had an uncomfortable bed. The shower did work well, which was one bright spot. There was no bottled water or kettle, and reception was open only now and then. Breakfast was fine, and the staff member did her best to look after everyone. Still, this didn't feel up to the standard of a three-star hotel, and I wouldn't recommend it.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. After booking, I got an email that didn't confirm the reservation, yet my credit card was charged. Reception was often unattended, and the man working there looked drunk.

We liked the friendly staff, the cleanliness, and being close to the city centre. But the family room wasn't a good experience: there was mould on the ceiling and wall, it smelled a bit, and it felt unsafe. Street noise at night was annoying too. We still had a nice time overall, though renovating the family room would be a real improvement.

The staff were nice, but the room made this feel barely a step above camping, with the noise and price on top. We had spotty WiFi, noise from upstairs and from creaky floors below, a sunken bed, and a room that clearly smelled of smoke. The bathroom smelled like sewage. There was mould at the bottom of the shower curtain, broken tiles, no heat or air conditioning, a broken shower head and holder, and an open hole in the sink. I know it's meant to be a two-star hotel in France, and that does make a difference, but this was still a lot. Booking directly with the hotel didn't save anything compared with booking.com, and our favorite part was the extra 15 minutes they allowed for checkout. I can only assume there are one or two better rooms, because I can't understand the rating based on our experience.
