The location was the only real plus. The hotel is close to the city and not far from the Prorel gondola. Everything else was disappointing, and I wouldn’t return or recommend it. I stayed six nights, from December 26 to January 2, and the staff were rude and unhelpful from the start. Requests were brushed off, and basic problems were treated as if they were my fault. On check-in day the room key didn’t work. I went between the first and fourth floors by elevator several times, each time being told I’d demagnetized it by keeping it near my phone. In the end someone had to come upstairs and manually open the door. After that, the key worked fine for the rest of the stay. The bathroom constantly smelled of sewer. When I asked for deodorant spray, I was told that wasn’t possible. On December 27 I reported that the retractable clothesline in the shower was stuck and unusable. I was told maintenance wasn’t working that day, but they’d make a note and fix it the next day. It was never fixed during my stay. The website advertises the swimming pool at 29 degrees. On December 26, the day I checked in, it was clearly much colder. Room cleaning had to be requested one day in advance, supposedly for sustainability, but the system didn’t work. I had to fight to get the room cleaned twice in six days. Once the desk forgot my request, and another time the cleaning staff said my room wasn’t on the list when I asked that morning. The free municipal shuttle was presented as a major benefit, but it doesn’t run on Sundays or January 1. Nobody mentioned that at check-in, which caused several problems. The website also says an on-demand shuttle runs day and night since winter 2019. When I asked about it, nobody knew what I meant. One staff member replied, “I don’t know about the bus, I have a car.” When I asked for an email address to make a complaint, they first refused and told me to find it on the website. I also mentioned that the WiFi wasn’t working properly and was told, “It’s normal, it’s the first of the year.” By then, it felt like I was being messed around instead of helped.
