Hôtel Vauban Briançon Serre Chevalier

It has a cosy, relaxed feel, almost like being locked in time, and I loved that spirit. The hotel is older, with old-fashioned furniture and style, but it’s kept in order and up to standard. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the town is within a 5-minute walk. There’s a big car park, with indoor parking available.

The hotel was super clean, and the staff were incredibly helpful and polite. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms huge. It’s a 5-minute walk to the ski pass cashiers. The rooms are good enough, but breakfast could have more variety. A few extra hooks would also make it easier to dry all the ski clothes.

Right in the town centre, with easy access to shops, restaurants and bars. The hotel was reasonably priced and had clean, well-appointed rooms, a well-stocked bar and a relaxing feel. We got a friendly welcome, and parking for our car was right beside the hotel. They also accommodate cyclists and motorbikes.

I’m deeply disappointed by the lack of basic humanity here. My 75-year-old mother politely asked to use the restroom and was willing to buy a coffee or anything they required. They turned her away with a cold, disrespectful attitude. No one should support a place that treats people this way. If kindness and respect matter to you, think twice before booking.
