Nemea L'Aigle Bleu

The rooms were clean, but the apartment didn’t have many amenities. It’s about 40 meters to the left to reach the ski lift, then there are stairs and the gondola, so it’s not an easy ski-in/ski-out setup. Coming back from the slope means crossing the bridge and taking the stairs again. The hotel feels a bit dated and due for renovation, and the ski room is too small, with no space for boots.

The location is the only good thing here. The place wasn’t clean, and they didn’t provide towels, sheets, or garbage bags. We had to put the sheets on ourselves. The dishwasher didn’t work, and there wasn’t even a sponge or dish soap. For 3,000 € for a week, not getting basic cleanliness is abusive. At checkout we had to clean, take out the garbage, wash the dishes, and bring all the sheets and laundry down to the laundry room. This is far too much work. If you stay here, bring everything you’ll need.

The location worked well, with various stores nearby and the ski lift close. The kitchenware was adequate, and the apartment itself was a little worn but acceptable. In the bedrooms other than the main one, there was only a bed, no wardrobe or dresser to put our things in. We ended up getting dressed straight out of our luggage, which was quite uncomfortable.

Being close to the telecabin and ski rental is a fantastic location. The apartment was spacious and well laid out, though the lighting wasn’t good, the cooking utensils weren’t very usable, and the large dining table didn’t come with comfortable seating for 10. Some parts also needed maintenance. Not being able to use the communal area on check-in day was stressful with our flight and transfer options. Still, we had a great experience and a lovely time.
