Au jardin de Grand-Père

We spent a lovely week here as a family and would gladly have stayed for another. The cosy house is tastefully decorated, with a big garden that has plenty of fruit and vegetables. It’s a great place to relax, and the kitchen has everything you need. There’s plenty to keep everyone occupied too, including table football, ping pong, badminton, pétanque balls, and board games. Nothing’s missing. It’s also a good base for exploring this region full of castles. We’ll recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We were nine adults in this beautiful family home, and everyone had a private space. There were large tables for meals inside and out, plus a magnificent garden. It had everything for a lovely stay: clean and comfortable rooms, plenty of crockery, board games, a TV, and movies. A great place for a convivial family holiday.

We had a great time with our three grandchildren, who had a blast in the huge garden. This warm family home is superb and perfectly maintained, with a real sense of character and memories. The bathrooms, dishes, and kitchen facilities were better than you usually find in a holiday rental. Thank you. The location is ideal, with plenty to do within a 30-minute drive. And don’t miss the Château de Fougères, just a 100-meter walk away.

We were lucky with the weather and made good use of the large garden. The “Grandfather's Garden” gîte is a welcoming family home, with everything we needed in terms of amenities and things to do, including lots of board games. It’s also well located for visiting many places nearby. We’ll recommend it to friends and family.
