The gondola right beside Hotel des Alpes made getting back after skiing so easy, and our four-course dinners with Christian were wonderful. Our rooms were spotless and freshly decorated, too. Thibault greeted us with his usual smile and laugh, and put us at ease about the chance of arriving late. We felt at home the whole time. As a family, we couldn't have asked for more. We usually don't return to the same place, but we're already planning visit number three in 2027.

I used this hotel as my base for the week. Meribel was about 25 minutes away, and Montalbert, with links to Paradiski, was a 30-minute drive. The location is hard to beat, and the half-board deal was excellent value, with very good food.

The staff were amazing, and the food was great. We spent five days on half board and really enjoyed the friendly French family atmosphere.

The ski storage cabin and short walk across the street to the telecabine for Meribel made this almost like staying ski-in/ski-out. We had two rooms for our family of five, with comfortable beds, plenty of storage, spacious bathrooms and lovely views over the town and mountains. Each morning there was a tasty breakfast buffet, and the evening meals were well prepared with local specialties. We also appreciated having the same waiter every day, especially since he was so patient and attentive while we were jet-lagged. Mr.Thibault, the owner, gave us a warm welcome when we arrived on Christmas Day. We were delighted with our holiday at Hôtel les Alpes and would love to come back.

Just a two-minute walk to the gondola, with friendly staff, a comfortable bar and good food. We had a great long weekend at this traditional, family-run hotel. Excellent value, and we'd happily recommend it.
