The breakfast buffet was generous, better than what plenty of five-star hotels serve, and we'd recommend adding it. The room was immaculate, stylish, well equipped, and a decent size. We had three suitcases and hand luggage and still had plenty of space. The bed was super comfy, and the stay was excellent value. We stopped for one night on our way from Lyons airport to the Bordeaux area. This is a lovely, high-quality little hotel in the heart of Brive. The city centre, with its charming boutiques and stores, is a five-minute walk away, and there are restaurants nearby.

A lovely hôtel with really comfortable rooms. The 20€ pet surcharge, though, doesn't feel very pet friendly.

The staff were incredibly friendly, though English clearly isn't a language they speak easily. They were happy to help English-speaking guests, but it took patience and some mental gymnastics. Rooms are on the small side, much like elsewhere, but they're super cute. Breakfast was great, and the hotel was amazing. There's lots of food spots and restaurants within walking distance. 10/10, I'd stay in Brieve again.

The room itself looked elegant and classically styled, with a big bed, a large shower, Nuxe amenity, and an espresso coffee machine. We had a superior room, and it was spacious. The reception woman was very nice and smiling, and the views were beautiful when we first arrived. But after driving four hours, I expected to sleep like a baby and couldn't sleep at all. Noise came through from the next room: showering, toilet flushing, doors slamming, and people talking loudly. I ended up taking sleeping pills. It's such a shame for a nice hotel, but sleep matters, and it was much too noisy for me. Sorry, I can only give it three stars.
