The room itself was good, with plenty of hangers, including clip hangers, and the staff were helpful. They let me store my food in the fridge, use the microwave, and boil water in the lobby, which was a relief when I was tired and didn't have the energy to look for somewhere to eat. Getting in was odd, though. I had to wait and use the intercom to ask someone to open the gate, and I found it strange that it was locked. The walls also let through a lot of noise. I could hear people talking, doors shutting, and sex from the room next door. With insulation that poor, I don't think guests should be placed right beside each other, especially since the hotel didn't seem full.

For a simple, budget hotel, it was clean and I didn't find any serious problems. The lobby is excellent, and the staff were cool and had beer. It used to be an Ibis, which may explain the relatively good amenities. The place has been renovated recently, the pillows are very soft, and the air conditioning works fairly well. The windows are huge, though, so light coming through the curtains could be an issue.

There's always someone at the lobby, which you can't count on at every roadside hotel. It's right on the road, and a great place.

The rooms were clean but small, and the woman at reception was really welcoming. The big terrace could be a nice place to sit or have a drink, but it looked dirty. Even with the temperature at 36 degrees, nobody opened the umbrellas, and after dark no one came to turn on the lights despite customers being out there. Drinks at the bar are pricey: a pint of beer was 6.50, and a small bottle of water was 3.50.

The staff were five-star, and we had a pleasant stay. The room was big enough for two, though not spacious, and the toilet was nice. Towels were small and rough, and the air conditioning was very noisy. The location wasn't ideal for getting around on foot, as there are no amenities within walking distance.
