I picked it for the location for a business visit. It's a really basic hotel, though the service and breakfast were still okay.

The toilet had faeces left in it, with a brown crust still there after flushing, and there was a sharp, unpleasant smell when we first walked in. The bedding was stained, there was dust throughout the room, and nail clippings were left in the bathroom sink. We asked to move rooms and were told that wasn't possible, so we took sleeping bags from the car and slept on top of the bed because we didn't want our bare skin on the sheets. We left as quickly as we could the next morning. We asked booking.com for a refund and sent evidence of the poor hygiene, but after two weeks neither the hotel nor booking.com had received a reply to our emails from the hotel. It feels like our requests are being ignored. I'm shocked and expect the manager to respond. This is unacceptable. The rooms look nothing like the pictures. The interior is badly outdated and urgently needs work. If that were the only issue, it might have been fine, but I really question how this place got 3 stars. The cleanliness is far below standard. Don't stay here, and read the other reviews. This doesn't seem to be a one-off.

Since the 2025 renovation, the hotel has been better than I'd expect from a 3-star place. The staff are kind and helpful, breakfast is good enough, and I had no problems with the cleaning.

There were people yelling in the hallway around 2-3am, and when we tried calling the front office early that morning, nobody answered. The doors had no extra safety locks, so we wedged a chair against ours. The room in person was nothing like the pictures on the site. The floors were dusty, the beds were tiny, and the topper kept sliding off. After one night without much sleep, I don't think it was worth it. Go somewhere else if you can.
