What a letdown. I visited about 10 years ago and remember it as a really nice place to spend time, with a clubhouse and a sandy beach by a beautiful little lake. These days the clubhouse is neglected and shut, and the water looks a nasty green-brown. The beach is mostly mud and weeds now, with little sand. Avoid!

There’s lots to do around the lake, including fishing and swimming, and there’s a restaurant just across from it. The lakeside clubhouse serves food and drinks, and kids can use the mini golf and outdoor swings. Guests can also use the pool on the property. It’s a quiet place with plenty of hiking and camping nearby, set in a beautiful pinewood area. Brossac is about one and a half kilometers from the resort, with a store, bakery, post office, bank, butcher, pharmacy, library, restaurant, and plenty of other amenities. Villas are available to rent too. We had a wonderful holiday.

This place has seen better days. The restaurant has been closed for over two years, the club hotel is neglected, and the beach isn’t cleaned.

We had a great holiday by the pond. The rental houses are comfortable, and the restaurants are good with a lovely atmosphere. The only thing I’d change is the pathways, which could look nicer with better upkeep.
