Bernard and Lydie made us feel like we were staying at friends’ place, they’re such warm, charming hosts. The breakfast was enormous, and the guesthouse was spotless. We spent two nights surrounded by lovely nature, with horses and donkeys and views that go on and on. Everything was just right. One small request for Bernard: could you add a bathroom shelf for a toiletry bag? Thanks so much for your kindness, and maybe we’ll see you again 😘😘😘

There’s plenty to do nearby, and the place sits in a lovely rural setting. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable, attached to the house but fully independent. Lydie and Bernard are very welcoming: Lydie really goes out of her way to make the stay enjoyable, and Bernard cooks excellent meals. The facilities and welcome were perfect, especially for the price. We’ll definitely be back.

The dinner was exceptional, and breakfast was sumptuous, with fresh local produce. We stayed on December 9-10 in rainy weather, but would love to come back in spring or summer to make use of the many outdoor facilities. The independent suite is very well equipped, with a few surprises from the owners, and exceptionally clean. Lydie and Bernard gave us a wonderfully warm welcome, with luxurious, personal service. A magnificent, peaceful setting. We were absolutely charmed.

We had a lovely weekend exploring the Périgord region, on January 20, 2024. The accommodation was exceptionally clean, and the welcome was warm and kind. Breakfast was more than generous, and especially nicely prepared, with homemade and local products. Thank you for everything.

If you’re after quiet, nature and animals, this is a lovely spot 😍. The dovecote is cozy and comfortable, very clean, and has everything laid out well. Breakfast was excellent, varied and high quality, with so much choice it was hard to try it all. Lydie and Bernard were attentive and took great care of us, plus they gave us useful sightseeing advice. We had a perfect, relaxing stay and felt very pampered.
