Dolce Vita

The staff we met were all friendly and very helpful, which made the rest of our experience a real shame. The rooms are extremely basic, with noisy old electric heaters and walls so thin we could hear through them. The bathroom was just as bare bones, and the shower pressure was poor. Breakfast cost an extra 7€ and was awful: a few slices of white bread, butter, cheap jam sachets, plain yogurt, and a pot of unpleasant, lukewarm instant coffee. My wife asked for a cappuccino and got a small bowl of instant cream. It took us a moment to work out they thought adding that to the instant coffee made a cappuccino. We also ate at the restaurant, which calls itself a pizzeria. I thought pizza would be a safe choice, but I was wrong. It’s a pity the food and accommodation don’t match the helpful, friendly staff.

I had a good stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff worked really hard to communicate with me even though I don’t know any French. Five stars.

Facilities are basic, but the price is very reasonable. The room was spotless and the staff were really helpful.

The bathroom and shower were almost impossible to use. The room itself was tiny and very basic.
