The neighborhoods are pretty, really pretty, and it’s easy to find parking. You can come here to get away from your usual surroundings, though don’t expect much signal: it barely reaches 3G, let alone 4G. The place feels poor and rather depressing, with what seems like all the young people leaving. Still, nobody dead on the sidewalks, and this is where the French granary is.
We had two lovely meals at Chateaubriand, and I’m sure we’ll be back soon since the menu changes often. The food was delicious and made with fresh ingredients, and the welcome was warm and friendly. It’s a really pleasant restaurant in a village, well worth a visit.
The decor might not lead you to expect much, but the food is genuinely good. It’s all homemade, with fresh ingredients and proper French cooking, and the price is reasonable. Service was very friendly too. A wonderful restaurant, and highly recommended for the money.
The setting isn’t especially modern, but I ate really well. Everything is homemade, and you can taste it.
SUPER, I was very happy with the warm welcome and excellent service. My only comment is about the cakes they served as an appetizer!
