The owners handle everything themselves, cooking and serving, and the food is all homemade and delicious. It’s a charming little retro restaurant, with two starters to choose from, a daily special, and two desserts. We had a lovely time. Highly recommended.

This simple hotel has a pleasant feel, and staying here really shows the contrast with our rushed modern lives. I used to come regularly from the Netherlands, and the experience eventually helped me decide to move to France.

I haven’t stayed there recently, so I wouldn’t rate it. But seeing that the place is still open, and seems much as it was when I spent nearly a year there in 1991, brings back good memories. I especially remember the fascinating chats with the owner, Grandma Berthelot. She was over 80 then, lively and full of energy, with plenty of stories about her younger days.
