The breakfast costs an extra 10 euros, but I thought it was worth it. The attached restaurant is run separately and is absolutely fantastic, a place to try at least once while you're staying here. The B&B itself has a lot of history, with the same family having owned the charming building for over 400 years. The decor is quirky and very French, and the host is pleasant in a quiet, reserved way. Highly recommended.

The neighbors even say to be careful not to upset him because he can fly off the handle. He also came across as vulgar, bringing up sex repeatedly when speaking with a woman. After that, there was a string of excuses: we were asked to help make the beds, then he said he was in the hospital. He kept us waiting for 15 days, then refused us the day before arrival because he didn't agree with the price he had initially accepted. Dishonest man. Don't book under any circumstances. Run away!

The river running through the village was a lovely way to cool off in the heat. We spent a romantic weekend in one of the castle's rooms, and Marcel shared his love for the castle with us. He's quite a character. We'll be back...
