Camping Les Castors - Mobil-Home

There are several ways to stay here, from wooden chalets and a little hut on the lake to a traditional Alsacian house. The campsite itself has generous pitches, a summer swimming lake, a small track where kids can ride their mountain bikes, and a good-looking playground. A lovely holiday spot.

The staff were very friendly, and the toilets were spotless. The small campsite sits right beside two little lakes, one for fishing and the other for swimming. The swimming lake isn’t deep, I’d guess 1,50 at most.

Our pitches were spacious, and having our own private loo was great. A few campers mistook our private sanitaire for a public one and went in, so maybe it needs a sign. Reception staff were super friendly, and we had a great long weekend. I’d happily come back, though my husband didn’t catch a single fish 😆.

We arrived without being told that a private party was taking place in the restaurant. That left campsite guests without access to the restaurant, and there wasn’t anywhere else open nearby to eat. The party was very noisy, with loud music continuing past midnight and people shouting.
