The owner was very friendly, and the staff were helpful too. The rooms felt about right for a three-star hotel. The HP meals, though, were very basic, nowhere near a culinary highlight. Their sauerkraut with sausage and potatoes seems to be treated as a signature dish.

A great place to stop for lunch. Definitely recommend it!

The Cordon Bleu I had was really tasty, though my wife's Carp was a little bland. We got good value for the money and would come back. The staff found us a spot on the terrace even though they were nearly full. Since the road is pretty busy, I'd choose a table inside for a quieter meal if one is free.

The portion of fish was good, but it hadn't been filleted properly. I had to pick quite a few bones out of my mouth.

The place is near a busy road, but it's still well worth visiting. The service is professional and the quality is very good. The team includes former staff from the 'Auberge de France'.
