The historic villages nearby make this a great base for exploring. We also loved the regional food, made with quality ingredients and paired with delicious wines. Our host turned out to be a very good cook, even though that part of the experience could have been highlighted more. The setting is wonderfully peaceful, with access to the pool. Inside, the rooms have contemporary decor, excellent bedding, and bathrooms with walk-in showers.

The owner was so kind, and his cooking was delicious. For €27, the set menu included fresh ingredients, tasty wines, a starter, main course, and dessert, with different wines during the meal. Great value. Breakfast was just as good, and our room was clean. It's also very well placed for visiting the Lantern Festival. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.

There isn't a common room for guests, so a TV in the room would be useful on bad-weather days. The welcome was friendly, and both the room and bathroom were fine. Meals were okay, though serving duck at both meals without much real preparation was a shame. Breakfast fell short of what I'd expect from a B&B: the bread and waffles were defrosted, there were no pastries or toast, and the only homemade item was the jam. Especially disappointing with a bakery in the village.

The garden-facing rooms were lovely, with views over the countryside, and very quiet. We also appreciated the little above-ground pool during August's scorching temperatures. Impeccable welcome and service. Thank you, Patrick, for the hosted dinners and your à la carte breakfasts.

We were welcomed so warmly by our host, and the room had lovely, tasteful decor. Dinner at the shared table was excellent. Such a beautiful area to explore.
