Gite Le Logis Dauphinois

The room itself was great, with a nice bed and air conditioning, and the friendly staff made the hotel a good option for one night. It’s right in the town centre, though parking can fill up late in the evening. There’s a side street where you can park instead. I wasn’t keen on the restaurant. The café outside was often full of local Arab men drinking coffee and smoking, and there are several average kebab shops nearby. Bombay restaurant, an Indian place, is about a 10-minute walk away. The area around the hotel didn’t feel so good to me. After 6 pm, I wouldn’t recommend a woman travelling alone to walk around by herself. On my way to a shop, I was repeatedly harassed by men who looked Middle Eastern. I hadn’t expected that in France.
