The hotel was closed. I booked for 16th April, but arrived to find it locked up and building work underway. Caen Tourist information told me the former owner had sold it around December 21. They said she had told them her booking.com account had been hacked by scammers and that booking.com had been informed. I also reported it to booking.com, but several days later the listing was still live today.

Right in the center of Caen, and the place has a cozy feel to it.

Room 18 had loads of space, lovely little furnishings and clean royal blue carpet. The large bathtub was a nice touch too. It felt cozy, almost like being at home, and everything was great. The manager was so pleasant, a welcome change from people who grumble and look miserable. A lovely little hotel, highly recommended.
