Domitys Le fil de soie

For an overnight stop, the space and facilities were good value compared with the other options. The apartments were clean and spacious, staff were friendly, and the little pool with its built-in jacuzzi was lovely. Having a kitchenette, fridge and kettle was handy, though there weren’t many utensils or other equipment. We hadn’t realized when booking through booking.com that this is a retirement home, which felt a little strange. The underground parking also has a height limit that wasn’t mentioned in the listing. There was a musty, drain-like smell in the bathrooms, and that would put us off coming back.

The rooms were excellent in almost every way, though the bathroom smelled bad. The staff didn’t know much English, but they did their best to communicate and were very helpful. I’d definitely recommend it.

Very comfortable and clean, just right for an overnight stay. I’d highly recommend it.

The room was clean, the kitchen was equipped, and entry with the key card was easy. The parking lot felt secure. But during our four-night stay, the towels were never changed, even though they were supposed to be changed every two nights. Wi-Fi wouldn’t work the whole time, and the bathroom drain smelled awful. It’s advertised as an English-speaking hotel, but over four days I found only one receptionist who spoke a little English.
