Hôtel Belazur

At £85 for three nights, it was fine. The bed was comfortable enough and the shower was hot, although the bathroom was small and one light didn't work. I didn't try the food or coffee since there are plenty of good places within 100 metres of the front door.

The room and bathroom were clean, and the staff were friendly. The carpet had some stains and the beds were on the small side. I paid 38€ for 3. This is a cheap hotel that's showing its age. Be careful with parking: the square outside looks convenient on Google Maps, but when I arrived late Friday I had to move my car before 6 the next morning or risk having it towed for the Saturday market. There's a nice café nearby for morning coffee.

We had to add an unexpected night, and the staff were accommodating, even giving us a discount for the extra day. Check-in was trouble-free despite our late arrival. The place is a little rough around the edges, but handy and practical. The only reason I'm taking off a star is the faulty hairdryer.

Breakfast was quite good, but the rooms were shabby and needed decorating. The showers were barely fit for purpose, and we could hear street noise late into the night. It felt like a very old-fashioned, tired hotel from the 60s.
