For a short stay, I'd come back if it was what my budget allowed. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious, so it did the job. The towels could have been fresher, and there was no toilet in the room. The shared toilet had nowhere to wash your hands, either. I was happy enough overall, especially given I've stayed in much worse places that cost more. Just bring your own towels.

We ended up here in an emergency after missing the ferry. It felt more like a B&B than a hotel, and though old-fashioned, it looked clean. The staff were friendly, but the smell was extremely musty. Within 24 hours of leaving, I was covered in bed bug bites, so I wouldn't recommend it.

The late 11 am checkout was good, and reception staff can and do speak English. The room was clean, but plumbing noise came from every direction, and it felt like a herd of elephants was staying above us. Not somewhere for a good night's sleep. There was no restaurant, parking, or tea-making equipment.

It's a modest but clean hotel, and the staff were nice enough to let us check in in the morning. The downside was the school just across the street. It got so noisy during the first part of the day that it was hard to rest.

A bit noisy, but fine for one night, especially since it's fairly cheap and near the ferry terminal. The room was clean and tidy, and local pubs and restaurants are only a short walk away.
