Camping La Pinv De

We booked Thursday and Friday nights, and loud music with really heavy bass carried on until 12:40 a.m. both nights. It only stopped after we went over twice to ask them to turn it off. The place itself is nice, but it's hard to relax with music blasting like that.

The restaurant was a much nicer surprise than we expected, and even the WiFi was good enough for me to work. Most pitches had enough shade, and everything seemed to work well. The beach nearby felt safe for swimming and snorkeling. Leave the moray alone and it'll leave you alone. We were there in early July, and it worked well for families. There were frogs, hedgehogs, and bats around; more native trees would have helped the local wildlife. At night, squirrels kept dropping pine cones on our roof. We eventually got used to it.

Our glamping tent was lovely, but it got too much sun and became uncomfortably hot during the day with our baby. The reception staff were incredibly kind and immediately moved us to a mobile home with air conditioning at no extra cost. The site is close to the sea, with lots of trees for shade. The pool was great for the kids, and the little shop had fresh bread every day. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it.

We used to count this among our favorite places to camp in Corsica. Now there are only mobile homes and bungalows, with no camping pitches left. Calling it a “camping” site is misleading, and that's a real shame.
