The cabins were clean, quaint, and well equipped. In May it was very quiet, and the site had lovely dappled shade.

A lovely, peaceful place with nice, clean facilities. The rocky beach is about a two-minute walk away.

It’s useful to remember what the follow-up survey says, that this is the cheapest accommodation in Calvi. The cottage has the basics, is in a good spot, and you can walk into Calvi easily. The shower was particularly good. The cottage is very dated, though, and smelled old and musty when we arrived. The bed is small and very hard. It’s also really noisy. Each log cabin is divided into four cottages, and you can hear people through the walls. One night we were even woken by a neighbor’s phone vibrating all night. There was noise around the campsite until 1 a.m., too. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.
