L'Acquale

I really loved staying here. The staff were kind, the rooms were more than comfortable, and the surrounding mountains near Calvi made for a thrilling view. An amazing hotel.

We were two travelers from abroad who don't speak French, and the staff made us feel very welcome. Plenty of them speak other languages, including English. The amenities were wonderful, the outdoor pool area was great, and there were lots of breakfast options. I'd recommend including breakfast. We found the location perfect for exploring central Calvi, the port, beaches, and nearby natural areas. There's a full fitness centre and spa, and they even let us use a shower room after checkout at 11:00 if we wanted to stay around longer. That was an incredibly thoughtful, classy touch. We couldn't have been happier, and it was a five-star experience without question. We'd only stay here again if we returned to Calvi.

The climb up from the train station was worth it, especially with the helpful staff making an early check-in possible. We had great views, lovely rooms, a huge breakfast selection, and a nice pool and spa area. The pool loses the sun late in the day, but I really can’t fault the place. I’d definitely come back.

We’d happily stay at L'Acquale again if we return to Calvi. The rooftop tapas and cocktails came with a lovely setting, and breakfast had plenty of choice at the self-service buffet. The hotel was spotless, and every staff member was friendly and ready to help. When we asked for extra items, they were brought over almost straight away, always with a smile.
