It seems the hotel may now be closed. On 13 March 2026, I was told the owner had died suddenly, which is very sad. The website is still online, but there are no dates available to book. I had an April reservation and had paid a 50% deposit. They said they would refund it, but I still haven’t received anything. When I contacted them again on 3 April 2026, they said it would arrive “soon.” That seems to be a flexible idea of soon, so I’m going to contact my credit card company.

We had a very pleasant stay, with lovely staff and a perfect spot right in Calvi’s historic center. Our ground-floor family suite had plenty of room for us and our two kids, one in a cot and one on a foldout bed. There was also a handy kitchen area with a large fridge-freezer, microwave and sink. The shutters blocked out all the light, which helped the baby sleep. We parked around the corner and that worked fine.

Everything was walkable from this charming little hotel, and the location was perfect. The staff were really friendly, and the restaurant was beautiful. Our room faced the street, which got quite loud at night. There’s no hotel parking, but public parking is nearby. Christoph Columbus Parking is probably the best option.

The setting was beautiful and romantic, and the food was delicious. But the server was really rude to my friend when she needed a small accommodation with her food. It left a bad taste, so we skipped dessert and won’t be back.

We had dinner on the balcony and the staff took great care of us. The meal was nice for a decent price, with a great entree and main course, though the fish was a little dry. I’m nitpicking, but I’d genuinely recommend the place and will most likely come back.
