Gîtes de Camors

We were a group of two couples with three young children, and the garden and pool were a real treat for everyone. The accommodation was excellent, and Tam and Stewart were such good hosts. If you like, they'll even pick up bread and croissants in the morning. The countryside setting is beautiful, with a wide choice of attractions within easy reach. We had a fantastic week at Gites de Camors and were all reluctant to leave. We can't recommend it enough. x

We felt at home as soon as we arrived. Tamsin and Stewart gave us such a warm, genuine welcome, with a lovely hamper, beers and wine in the fridge, and little welcome bags on our girls' pillows. They were by far the nicest hosts we've met, and always ready to make our stay more pleasant. If anything had been missing from the gîte, we knew they'd sort it out quickly. Our Cider press gîte was clean, tidy, cozy, airy, and spacious. The master bedroom had a magnificent view, and having coffee on the patio in the morning was one of the many pleasures of staying there. The area is green and quiet, great for walks, biking, or running. In town there's a good butcher, bakery, and pizzeria, while bigger shops are only 10 minutes away. We also recommend the house caterer, whose food was fresh and tasty. Lovely beaches are within a 25 to 30-minute drive.

The pool is a great extra, and there's plenty to do nearby for families, couples, or larger groups. A lovely, very traditional gîte with great hosts.

We've stayed here twice now and are already looking forward to coming back. The accommodation is amazing, with excellent facilities and everything we could want. It's also wonderfully peaceful, and the hosts are so lovely and do all they can for you. Thanks, Stewart and Tamsin, and Del the dog and playmate!
