That dinner at Marie's was the best part of our one-night stay. We got talking with the owner of the vineyard Marie had recommended and arrived later than we meant to. She still made us feel completely welcome, with snacks and an aperitif outside before dinner, then joined us at the table. The duck magret was superb, and the whole evening felt like sharing a meal with an old friend. My husband and I loved the lovely rural setting at her rustic guesthouse, and we can't wait to come back.

Marie pointed us towards some real gems in this beautiful part of France, and her directions made it easy to make the most of our short break. This was another wonderful two-night summer stay. We were welcomed as warmly as ever, and the food was superb. Marie, you're a terrific ambassador for the region. We really hope to be back next year. Best wishes, Bob and Prue Russell

After a very hot day cycling through Aquitaine, cold beers from Marie were just what we needed. Later we had a gourmet dinner on the lawn as the sun set. Our night at the ancient farm made this week's cycling trip feel even more special. Staying at Belliette was the highlight of the week, and Marie was a perfect host.

The sunset was magnificent, and dinner was delicious, with Gers specialties. After a week walking the Camino de Santiago, we stopped at Marie's gîte and were delighted by her kind welcome. Marie is charming, and we had a wonderful time. Thank you, Marie. If you're in the area, it's a place not to miss.
