The host is adorable and knows a lot about the area’s history. She speaks English, French, German, Polish, Hungarian and Italian. It’s a bright, airy place near the sea.

The house and its surroundings are stunning, and the food was fantastic. I can’t recommend staying here enough. You won’t be disappointed!

We stayed in the “La Vallée” room at Mont d'Auge, where comfort and a friendly atmosphere made us feel at ease. The house is a beautiful, traditional Norman half-timbered building, set in the countryside, so it’s wonderfully quiet and a lovely place to get away from busy Paris. We were warmly welcomed, and breakfast was delicious and generous. If you like tea, there’s a great variety to choose from. A wonderful stay!

The rooms are roomy, comfortable and peaceful, and breakfast is hearty. The owners are warm and welcoming, always around when needed and happy to share tips about places to visit. It’s a superb house, and I highly recommend it! 😀

Such a charming place, peaceful and tucked away, like a little slice of paradise. The room was beautifully decorated, and we got a wonderful welcome. I wish we’d stayed longer.
