2 Bedroom Apartment in the Heart of Cannes air Conditioning Easy Walk to the Palais des Festivals - 2015

The whole team was so kind, and we'll definitely be back. This aparthotel is in the heart of Cannes, inside a beautifully renovated building. The apartments have tasteful decor, top-of-the-range amenities, and everything is very well equipped. We're torn between telling people about this gem and keeping it secret so we can return.

We paid €200 for a place with practically no windows, no view, and only artificial light. It felt like a basement. The only pot for cooking pasta didn't work, though they checked it the next day. When we couldn't make dinner that night, they offered no fix. Instead of compensating us for the trouble, they spoke very rudely and threatened us. They apparently take photos of how guests leave the room to use against them if they complain. We had cleaned all the kitchen utensils and left everything in order, though there was spaghetti in the shower and some of our son's toys under the sofa. They said they'd photographed everything. We're looking into whether this is illegal. The whole exchange was incredibly aggressive, unlike anything we've experienced. Aesthetically, it had none of the French Riviera charm we expected, just a nouveau riche style, so it probably has its clientele. The place had a bad vibe, even though it looked like a smart home showroom and they seemed very proud of it.

Traveling with a young child, we were especially impressed when the staff arranged a cot in the middle of the night, after closing time. That five-star service made our stay. The central Cannes location made exploring easy, and the apartment felt relaxed and luxurious, with fresh, well-organized rooms and elegant Scandinavian decor with tasteful details. For the price, it's a real gem. Highly recommend it to families looking for a first-class Cannes stay without breaking the budget.
