I couldn't get a decent night's sleep because noise carried from both the street and other rooms, with no real soundproofing. Even simple requests took ages, and staff came across as uninterested and unprofessional. Their rudeness was the worst part: questions and concerns were met with irritation or indifference, with little courtesy or respect. This was one of my worst hotel stays, and I wouldn't recommend it. I hope management takes these problems seriously and improves things.

The place itself was clean and in very good shape, and the staff were friendly. I picked it mainly because I was arriving by train and wanted somewhere close to the station. It's just across the street, and you can walk straight down to La Croisette. Some of the nicest restaurants and bars are only a couple of blocks away. I've stayed with Sonder in the US before and was happy with the quality and service, so this was a good choice for the location. Highly recommended.

Right by the train station, which is handy if you're carrying a lot of luggage, though the street is loud and dirty. The rooms are basic, humid and stuffy, and the air conditioning is pretty weak. The beds are nothing special, but it's somewhere to sleep. At less than $200 a night it might be okay. Pay more and it really isn't worth it. If you just need a bed, you may be satisfied, but anyone looking for a nice, cute hotel should look elsewhere.

The lobby looks great, but the rooms were nothing like the photos. They were incredibly small, old and poorly cared for, with lots of stains and dirt on the walls. The area didn't feel very good, and there were many shady people around the station and outside the hotel, though the main streets are close by. I definitely wouldn't stay here again.
