Le Quai Des Princes

The pool area and gym were awesome, and I liked the clean, classy vintage feel. The location, service, and parking for residents and visitors were ideal for me. I’ve taken off one star because staff weren’t present in certain spots.

The small breakfast buffet was surprisingly good, so I’d give it a try. The gym is free, and there’s a pool in the summer months. Nothing especially exciting about the place. Having a studio where you can manage a small household is convenient, though the eighties interior feels dated. The staff do their jobs, but not much beyond that.

A nice place with good facilities for a decent price, and a lovely pool. It’s close to all the Monaco hotspots, whether you go by taxi or on foot. It’s child-friendly, though there isn’t much for kids besides the pool. The beach on the French side nearby wasn’t nice, with lots of sharp shells and pebbles. Better to look for one a bit farther away by car.

The place is shabby and old-fashioned, and the balcony door was broken and never replaced. The woman at reception was especially terrible, unkind and insensitive. She argued with nearly every guest who asked for help. She tried to charge me the city tax repeatedly even after I explained everything. In the end I had to call my bank and send her the credit card explanation. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t trust reception with your credit card. Keep every receipt, because they try to accuse their guests. I strongly advise staying away.
